Santa's Toy Trot 2/4/6 Mile

Participants have the option to run 2,4 or 6 miles. The race starts at the Sweetsir School in Merrimac, MA. Participants run a 2-mile loop that starts and finishes at the school. The two mile loop allows runners to decide whether or not they want to stop or keep on going. Prior to the actual race children, 10 and under, are welcome to participate in a fun run around the elementary school led by a Winner's Circle Running Club Member. A portion of the proceeds supports the Merrimac Holiday Helper Program, a program that supports Merrimac Families through the holidays.
The Hangover Classic 5K/10K

The WCRC Hangover Classic features both 10K and 5K road races. Both races start simultaneously from the same line and both finish on the same line (with start and finish chip timing). Both courses are flat and fast – entirely on beachfront roads (no beach running). Given the scenic beachfront location, many participants choose to take a post-race ocean plunge to kick off the New Year. Post-Race Party with music, beer, or and plenty of fun at the Carousel Lounge at Salisbury Beach, MA.
April Fools Race

The 40th Annual April Fool’s 4 Mile Road Race will be run at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the Winner’s Circle, just off of the Rte. 110 exit of Rte. 95, in Salisbury, MA. This event is one of the oldest races in the WCRC lineup, being just 3 months younger than the Hangover Classic on New Year’s Day. The race features a flat and fast course which attracts top runners, along with a fun atmosphere and great post race party, making the event inviting to all.

The High Street Mile

This one mile road race, occurring during Newburyport's Historic Yankee Homecoming Festival, features multiple heats including a children's heat with medals for all the little finishers! This year will feature professional race photographers, substantial cash prizes, race announcer Michael Bernier (Enjoy Your Life) and youth T shirts available.
